Auvik

Network monitoring and AIOps

About Auvik

Cloud network monitoring that discovers devices, draws a live network map and backs up switch and firewall configs.

Auvik is a cloud-based network monitoring and management tool. A small collector installed on each site scans the network, finds switches, routers, firewalls and access points, and draws a topology map that updates as devices come and go.

IT teams use it to see which device sits on which port, get alerts when an interface or device goes down, and keep automatic backups of network device configurations so a failed change can be rolled back. It also shows traffic flows, which helps when someone asks why the internet is slow at one office.

It is popular with managed service providers because each client gets its own site with separate maps and alerts. Check which device vendors and models it supports for config backup, and how the collector is deployed at sites with strict outbound rules.
