Every AI IT operations tool, by category

NetworkBuilt is organized around the jobs IT teams and managed service providers do every week. Each category covers one kind of work, from watching the network to answering employee requests, and each tool sits in the one category that matches what most teams buy it for.

Network monitoring and network automation cover the infrastructure itself: seeing what is connected, spotting problems early, and making changes consistently across many devices. Network security covers the shift to cloud-delivered security and zero trust access as users and applications move off the office network.

IT service management, help desk AI agents and remote support cover the people side: recording and routing requests, answering routine questions in chat, and reaching a user's screen without a site visit. Endpoint management and asset discovery cover the devices: keeping laptops and phones patched and configured, and knowing what exists in the first place.

PSA and MSP platforms are for managed service providers who run IT for many clients and need tickets, contracts and billing in one place. If you are an MSP, look for the "Built for MSPs" marker in other categories too.

Many tools overlap categories. Remote monitoring and management platforms include remote access, service desks include asset records, and some network security vendors also monitor networks. Use the related categories at the bottom of each category page to see neighboring tools, and compare tools across categories when one product might replace two.

Each category page starts with a short guide to that kind of tool: what it does, how teams use it, and what to check before you buy. The category FAQs cover the questions IT managers and MSP owners ask most often when they are building a shortlist.

Every listing is written by us and links to the official site. There are no scores or rankings, and any paid placement is labeled Sponsored.

Questions about NetworkBuilt

Why is a tool in only one category?

Many IT tools do several jobs. We place each one where most teams use it, so category pages stay focused. The tool page notes related categories through the similar tools list.

How often are listings checked?

We recheck listings regularly and whenever a vendor is acquired, renamed or changes its product. Report anything out of date and we will fix it at the next rebuild.

Are cloud DevOps and server tools listed here?

Lightly. NetworkBuilt focuses on networks, end-user devices, service desks and MSP work. Cloud infrastructure and server operations tools appear only where they overlap with those jobs.
