runZero
Asset discovery that finds managed and unmanaged devices by active scanning and integrations, including devices no agent covers.
- Free plan or free tier
- Developer API
Finds and inventories IT, OT and cloud assets across the network, building a searchable record of hardware and software.
Lansweeper scans networks to find every connected device and records what it is: computers and servers with their installed software, network gear, printers, and operational technology on factory floors. Cloud resources can be added through connectors, so the inventory covers more than the office network.
IT teams use the inventory to answer everyday questions quickly, such as which machines still run an old operating system, where a vulnerable software version is installed, or which devices have not been seen in months. The data often feeds a service desk or CMDB so tickets link to real assets.
It suits mid-size and large organizations that have lost track of what is on the network. Check how scanning works across segmented networks and remote sites, what credentials it needs for deep scans, and which integrations you need with your service desk.
